Damascus, SANA – The Anti-Narcotics Department arrested a gang that had been involved in the illicit trade and smuggling of drugs and weapons in Damascus and its Countryside.
The Department’s officers seized 800,000 Captagon pills as well as different types of weapons and ammunition that were in the gang’s possession.
A source At the Anti-Narcotics Department said that one of its patrols was able to arrest the gang, which consisted of five members who confessed to drug trafficking and weapons smuggling from Damascus Countryside into Damascus city.
