Lattakia, SANA- Under patronage of President Bashar al-Assad, a graduation ceremony was held for a new batch of students from the Naval Academy.
Participants in the ceremony observed a moment of silence in honor and appreciation of the martyrs, and the Syrian national anthem was played, and later a military parade was also performed.
In a speech delivered during the ceremony, Naval Force Commander shed light on the great role played by the naval force in defending the homeland during the current circumstances.
He highly appreciated the sacrifices and heroism of the Naval Force personnel in the battel launched by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism, calling upon the graduates to further develop their knowledge and expertise to confront with more resilience the dangers and challenges facing the homeland.
