Army establishes control over 3 villages in Homs and town in Hama

Homs/Hama, SANA – Army and Armed Forces units established full control over the villages of Duhour al-Khenzir, al-Shindakhia al-Janobia, and Abu Tarraha in Jub al-Jarrah area in the eastern countryside of Homs province.

SANA’s reporter in Homs said that army units, in cooperation with supporting forces, established full control over the three villages after fierce battles with ISIS terrorists, in which large numbers of terrorists were killed while their remnants fled towards neighboring areas, in addition to destroying cars and vehicles equipped with machineguns.

The reporter added that army units immediately combed the villages in search of IEDs and landmines and dismantled them to secure the installation of new military points in order to make them a platform for the expansion of military operations in the region.

Meanwhile in Hama province, army units, in cooperation with supporting forces, established control over the town of Qlaib al-Thor.

A military source told SANA that army units established control over the town which is located in the eastern countryside of Salamiya after eliminating large numbers of ISIS terrorists in it and destroying their weapons and equipment, including vehicles equipped with machineguns, in addition to seizing large amounts of weapons and ammo.
