President al-Assad receives a cable of condolence from President Putin on martyrs of the terrorist attack in Homs

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received a cable of condolence from Russian President Vladimir Putin on the martyrs of the terrorist attack that targeted graduation ceremony of the Military academy cadets in Homs.

“We strongly condemn this brutal crime that resulted in victims, many of them women and children, and we hope that its perpetrators will be justly punished”, President Putin said in a cable published on Friday on the Kremlin website.

President Putin expressed sincere condolences, sympathy and support to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded.

President Putin affirmed his country’s determination to continue to cooperate closely with the Syrian state in combating all forms and manifestations of terrorism.
