Damascus, SANA- The Cabinet held on Tuesday a weekly session, chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, discussing the National Project for Administrative Reform launched by President Bashar al-Assad.
“The project is very important in the sense it will be the basis for the reconstruction process of the Syrian state, managing all institutions, fighting any failure or corruption… it will be the basis for the creation of human resources as well, Premier Khamis said, considering it as “the essence of building Syria and therefore it is doomed to success.”
For her part, the Administrative Development Minister Salam Safaf gave a presentation about the project, pointing out that a general framework of it includes measuring the performance of public administrative bodies in the country to develop their work and support institutional transparency by responding to the aspirations of the citizens and to meet the public interest benefits and combating the administrative corruption.
