Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will continue to rise to become above average by 4 to 6 degrees as the country is affected by a
superficial seasonal low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be hot and clear in general while it will be misty and
very hot in the eastern, al-Jazira and al -Badiya desert areas.
The wind will be northwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become 5 to 7 degrees above average.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 42/26, Daraa 40/25, Homs 42/21, Hama 44/24, Lattakia 33/26, Aleppo 42/25 and Deir Ezzor 45/29.
