Tartous, SANA – In appreciation of their great sacrifices in defending the homeland, representatives from al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, Tartous Branch, honored 207 injured Syrian army members in a ceremony held at the Arab Cultural Center in the coastal city.
Secretary of Tartous Branch of al-Baath Party, Ghassan Asaad, expressed strong appreciation and pride of the Syrian army’s sacrifices being offered in defense of the homeland.
He stressed that the bravery of the Syrian soldiers has paved the way for achieving victory.
“We will defeat terrorism thanks to their efforts,” he added.
Speaking on behalf of the injured soldiers, Murshid Moeita highlighted the importance of this gesture as being a positive boost that further encourages them to continue their national mission in defending Syria.
