Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general and misty in the eastern area and al-Badiya desert areas while the wind will be changeable to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the weather will be relatively hot and the temperatures will rise to become from 4 to 6 degrees above average.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/19, Daraa 32/18, Homs 32/15, Lattakia 27/18, Aleppo 31/21 and Deir Ezzor 36/22.
