Damascus, SANA-The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya desert areas and local rain showers will fall over the coastal mountains in the evening and at night.
The wind will be southeasterly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will witness a considerable drop to become slightly below average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and rain showers are expected to fall over the northern and the coastal areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 26/8, Daraa 26/8, Homs 27/6, Lattakia 28/15, Aleppo 25/10 and Deir Ezzor 29/11.
