Syria’s Kalziyeh wins five medals at Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships

Damascus, SANA – Ayman Kalziyeh of Syria’s national swimming team won five medals at 53rd Milo/ Pram Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships 2017 (9-12 March).

Kalziyeh won three gold medals in 200 m event, 400 m freestyle event, 200 m butterfly event, in addition to a silver medal in 100 m butterfly event and a bronze in 50 m butterfly event.

Kalziyeh’s participation in this championship came as part of his reparation for the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games which will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from May 12 to May 22 and the 17th FINA World Championships which will be held in Budapest and Balatonfüred in Hungary from July 14-30, 2017.
