Daraa, SANA-Nearly 62 families from Wadi al-Yarmouk area have arrived in the city of Daraa during the past few days escaping from the criminal acts of terrorist groups affiliated to ISIS.
SANA reporter in Daraa said that the authorities offered shelters for 36 families in al-Sabil neighborhood while the rest of the families stayed in the houses of their relatives and friends waiting for completing the process of their new makeshift centers along with any new families that may arrive in the city of Daraa.
Ra’afat Faloji, Head of Disasters’ Department at the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in Daraa told SANA that the families were provided with all the basic needs since they arrived to the city.
A number of the families talked about the siege which was imposed on them by ISIS, depriving them from the most basic necessities of life.
