Moscow, SANA-Russian Defense Ministry affirmed on Thursday that photos and videotapes have been discovered in the neighborhoods, where the Syrian army has restored security and stability to that indicate terrorists had perpetrated brutal acts against the families there.
Viktor Poznikhir, the first deputy chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, said in a press statement quoted by RT website that the crimes perpetrated by the terrorist organizations and those called by Washington as “moderate opposition” against the families in Aleppo eastern neighborhoods are being documented.
“While combing those neighborhoods, prisons set up by terrorists underground for torturing and executing the kidnapped citizens were discovered,” Poznikhir affirmed.
He said that the victims were suspected civilians who were organizing protests against terrorists or men that rejected to join the gunmen.
“The military operations, carried out by the Syrian army and the backing forces against gatherings of the terrorist organizations in Aleppo eastern neighborhoods ended up with the expelling of gunmen after killing more than 900 terrorists and destroying tens of vehicles and equipment,” the Russian top officer concluded.
