Russian aid distributed to displaced people and martyrs’ families in Maaraba, Damascus Countryside

Damascus Countryside, SANA – A new batch of Russian humanitarian aid was distributed on Thursday to displaced people and families of a number of martyrs in Maaraba town in cooperation with the Governorate of Damascus Countryside.

During his participation in the distribution process, Representative of the Hmemim-based Russian Coordination Center said Russia is keen to continue helping the Syrians to better face the difficult circumstances they are experiencing because of the terrorist attacks.

He hoped that Syria security and stability will be restored to Syria soon and that state institutions will resume their work in all Syrian areas.

For his part, Mayor of Maaraba Hussam Eddein Bakir pointed out that 200 food packages were distributed today to the beneficiaries in the town, noting that more than 200,000 displaced people from different provinces are staying in the town.
