Provinces, SANA- Army and Armed Forces units on Sunday continued to launch wide-scale military operations against dens and positions of the Takfiri terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, establishing control over new areas and inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.
Damascus Countryside
A military source announced that army units restored full control over khirbet Khan al-Sheih and al-Madjaneh al-Sharqyia southwestern countryside of Damascus.
The source said that the new military win came after intensive army operations on the gatherings and fortified positions of terrorists in the area, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their fortifications.
The source pointed out that the army’s engineering units combed the area and dismantled the explosive devices and landmines that were planted earlier by terrorists.
In the same context, SANA reporter said that army units also restored control over a number of building blocks of the air defense housing in the area.
Daraa
Army units destroyed gatherings and fortifications of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Yadouda town and Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa southern province.
An army unit carried out intensive bombardments on the positions of the terrorist organizations and their fortifications in Daraa al-Balad area.
A number of terrorists were killed in the bombardments and four of their heavy machineguns were destroyed in Khazan al-Karak and near the shoes factory, in addition to destroying a canon to the northwest of al-Jumrok al-Qadim “Old Customs”.
Terrorists Abu Zoheir al-Shami and Mu’een Farid Zakawani were identified among the dead, while fourteen of the terrorists sustained severe injuries.
In the western countryside, an army unit destroyed fortifications and a vehicle belonging to the terrorist organizations, killing scores of terrorists while trying to steal grains from the silos in al-Yadouda town.
Qunietra
Members of a terrorist group were killed and others injured when an army unit targeted their sites in the area between the apple orchards in the area surrounding Tal al-Hamria to the south of Hadar village, according to SANA reporter.
The reporter added that another army unit directed artillery strikes on an infiltration axis of a terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra while it was attempting to sneak to Toloul al-Dalasa on the axis of Hirsh al-Sanobr to the west of Jobatha al-Khashab, killing a number of the group’s members, injuring the rest of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Lattakia and Idleb
Army units carried out operations against terrorists’ sites in the villages and towns in the area between the countryside of Lattakia and Idleb near the borders with Turkey, according to a military source.
The source said that army units destroyed dens and gatherings for terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in Karbil, Fala and al-Bweida villages in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
The source pointed out that a number of terrorists were killed and many others were injured, most of them members of Jaish al-Fateh, during the army operations in the villages of al-Najia,Shaghorit and Tal al-Tanjara in Jisr Ashughour area in the southwest countryside of Idleb.
Later, a military source said that the Air Force carried out precision airstrikes which resulted in eliminating many terrorists in Bannesh, Kansafra, Safouhen, Tal Mardikh, Abu al-Duhour, Ma’arbo, al-Mozara, and Khan Sheikhoun in Idleb countryside.
Homs
Army and Armed Forces units destroyed gatherings and vehicles for terrorists from ISIS in Salam Gharbi, al-Sultaniye, and Rahhoum village in the far eastern countryside of Homs province, a military source told SANA.
The source said that an army unit clashed with terrorists from ISIS who had attempted to attack Maksar al-Hosan village 75 km east of Homs city, thwarting the attack and killing most of the attacking terrorists, while the remaining terrorists fled towards al-Badiye desert.
In Homs’ northern countryside, army units targeted hideouts and concentrations of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist groups affiliated to it in Jouret Hasian, Abu al-Anz farms, Ein Hussein al-Janoubi, Salim valley, and al-Ghanto in the northern countryside and in Oum Sharshouh and Abu al-Sanasel hill in the northwestern countryside, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment.
The source also said that another army unit destroyed a gathering of terrorists in Tal Dahab in al-Houla area, killing scores of terrorists including Abdelhakim Hmaidan.
Aleppo
A military source told SANA that the Air Force eliminated large numbers of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Kafrnaha, al-Skaibiye, al-Atareb, Kafr Halab, and Kafr Da’el in Aleppo countryside.
Hama
A military source told SANA that Army and Armed Forces units eliminated large numbers of terrorists and destroyed their hideouts in Tibet al-Imam, Kafr Zeta, al-Zakat, al-Lataminah, Kafr Ouwaid, al-Nasseriye hill, Uqairibat, Morek, Helfaya, al-Lahaya, al-Buwaida, and Khirbet al-Hijama in Hama countryside.
