Al-Zoubi said that all forms of media must be nationalist media to help build humanity and preserve social unity, stressing that Syria was subject to a vicious media onslaught seeking to fragment and weaken the Syrian society, which is why everyone must play their part in defending the country in their own way.

In turn, caretaker Social Affairs Minister Kinda al-Shammat underlined the importance of the civil society’s involvement in media work and building skilled staff capable of working in all fields of media, noting that the Club is the first experience of this kind.

Head of the Club Maysaa Naameh said that this society represents a novel approach to rallying the forces of youth to bolster national media, stressing the need for supporting the Club and empower it.

The event included the screening of a documentary on Nizar al-Hasan and his family who were killed in Adra Workers City in Damascus Countryside when terrorists attacked the area in early 2014.
