Konashenkov: No flights of Russian or Syrian air forces over Aleppo in the past seven days

Moscow, SANA- Russian Aerospace Defense Forces and Syrian Air Force have not delivered airstrikes at Aleppo over the last seven days, and flights were not conducted over the city or its suburbs, official spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov said .

In press statements on Tuesday, Konashenkov added that the Russian air force and the Syrian air force have completely ceased any flights over Aleppo in the last seven days and they haven’t come close to the city or carry out any airstrikes against positions of gunmen in the surroundings of the city.

He indicated that the process of evacuating civilians from the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo is continued as yesterday 48 women and children were evacuated.

On Monday, 48 women and children were able to get out of the eastern neighborhoods of the city and they reached the positions of the Syrian Army in the western neighborhoods and Aleppo Governorate has provided all the needs of their residence and the required aid services.
