Damascus, SANA – The temperatures tend to drop but will remain above average by 2 to 3 degrees as the country is affected by superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be generally clear with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly of low speed, and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/15, Daraa 32/14, Homs 31/14, Lattakia 30/18, Aleppo 30/15 and Deir Ezzor 34/16.
