Damascus, SANA – Prime Minister Imad Khamis instructed ministries of Industry and Internal Trade and Consumer Protection to open outlets for selling Aleppo-made products in the vital market hubs of al-Salehiyeh and al-Hariqa in Damascus.
Premier Khamis also instructed the ministries of Industry and Public Works and Housing to remove debris from the Industrial Area of al-Lairamoun for facilitating the return of industrialists to operate their broken down factories in the area.
In this context, PM Khamis met with Chairman of the Federation of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Fares al-Shehabi and members of Aleppo Chamber of Commerce that are participating in Khan al-Harir fashion and textiles expo held lately in Damascus.
The meeting dealt with the obstacles and challenges facing the Syrian industry in general and the industry of Aleppo in particular in light of the government project aimed at restoring Syria’s industry and production circle and alleviating the burdens, material challenges and everything related to the standing fees.
Discussions also focused on means of supporting works related to rehabilitation, transportation, exportation, importation, industrial loans and social insurances related to stalled facilities as well as internal and external marketing through providing incentives to the exhibitions.
