UNICEF provides 25,000 school bags for students in Sweida

Sweida, SANA – Sweida Education Directorate has recently received 25,000 school bags provided by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) as part of “Back to School” campaign that is carried out by the Education Ministry in cooperation with the UNICEF.

Head of the Directorate, Haitham Naeem told SANA reporter that the bags will be distributed to students of needy families within the Basic Education stage at the beginning of the school year.

A similar amount of bags has been requested to cover all the Basic Education students, added Naeem.
