Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will slightly drop to become around average as the country is still being affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by southwester air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department said in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badiya (desert). Local rain showers are expected over the coastal heights. At night, the weather will be moderate of high humidity in the southern and central regions.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 34/19, Daraa 32/20, Hama 33/23, Homs 31/21, Lattakia 30/25, Aleppo 34/19 and Deir Ezzor 41/23.
