Aleppo, SANA- Aleppo police arrested a thief who confessed that he robbed a number of houses in al-Shahbaa neighborhood in Aleppo.
A source at Aleppo police command said in a statement to SANA reporter that after many incidents of theft in al-Shahbaa neighborhood lately, patrols were beefed up and evidence gathered and as a result of locals’ cooperation with police when someone informed the police that an unknown person tried to enter his house for theft, the thief was arrested.
The source added that during investigations, the thief admitted that he robbed 18 houses in al-Shahbaa neighborhood.
SYP 1.3 million, 23.850 USD and more than half a kilo of gold accessories, mobile phones and a car were confiscated.
