Two more breaches of cessation of hostilities observed in the last 24 hours

Lattakia, SANA – The Russian Coordination Center observed two breaches of the cessation of hostilities agreement by terrorist groups during the past 24 hours.

Based in Hmeimim airbase, the Center said in a statement on Saturday that the so-called “Jaish al-Islam” breached the agreement when its terrorists shelled positions of the Syrian army in Joubar and Erbin areas in Damascus Countryside.

The Center reiterated that the Air Forces of Syria and Russia did not target in the past 24 hours any positions of armed terrorist groups that have joined the cessation of hostilities agreement, which came into effect on February 27.

It pointed out that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists targeted with mortar shells a number of residential areas in Aleppo province, including the neighborhoods of al-Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Khalediyeh in the city and al-Nairab Airport in the countryside in addition to targeting a number of towns in Damascus and Idleb provinces.
