Tartous receives agricultural materials and humanitarian aid from China’s embassy

Tartous, SANA- Tartous Governor Safwan Abu Saadi signed on Thursday with China’s Ambassador in Damascus Wang Kejian two protocols whereby the Chinese embassy grants the governorate agricultural materials and humanitarian aid.

According to these protocols, the Chinese Embassy grants vegetable seeds to about 1,100 farms and a number of wheelchairs for the wounded persons, people with disabilities and those affected by the terrorist bombings which took place in Tartous province recently.

For his part, Tartous governor thanked China for its continuous support to Syrians in facing terrorism.

For his part, China’s ambassador said that assistance in productive projects has a long-term benefit and helps to ensure a better future for the people, expressing his appreciation and respect for the people of Tartous who have embraced arrivals from other provinces who left their areas due to terrorist acts.

Following the signing ceremony, the Chinese ambassador visited a number of archaeological and tourist sites in the city of Tartous and al-Dreikish city where amounts of vegetable seeds were distributed to some farmers in the area.
