Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain below average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a weak chance of rain showers on the coastal heights during the night, while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/17, Daraa 31/16, Homs 27/16, Lattakia 24/18, Aleppo 30/16 and Deir Ezzor 34/18.
