Five breaches of cessation of hostilities agreement observed in Damascus

Lattakia, SANA – Terrorist groups breached the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria 5 times in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of beaches to 604 since the agreement came into effect on 27 February, the Russian Coordination Center said.

The center, based in Hmeimim airbase, added in a statement on Tuesday that all breaches were observed in Damascus where terrorists of the so-called Jaish al-Islam targeted Ibn al-Walid health center in Harasta district and Syrian army positions in Douma and Jour al-Basha with mortar rounds.

The center said the cessation agreement has been holding in most provinces, noting that agreement was reached recently with representatives of two towns in Homs and Daraa, putting the total number of the towns and cities which joined the cessation of hostilities agreement at 128.

The Russian center indicated that 16 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to civilians in Aleppo.
