Somalia condemns terrorist bombings in Tartous and Jableh

Damascus, SANA – Somalia condemned the terrorist bombings that targeted the cities of Tartous and Jableh last week, expressing its denunciation of these dreadful terrorist acts.

In a statement on Sunday, the Somali Embassy in Damascus affirmed Somalia’s support for and solidarity with the Syrian people and government in confronting all attempts that aim at destabilizing the security and stability of Syria, noting that these uncivilized terrorist operations are in the interest of Israel, the enemy of the Arab and Islamic nation.

The Embassy noted that the criminal acts committed by the Takfiri terrorist gangs against the brotherly people of Syria are similar to those from which Somalia has been suffering for more than two decades now.

On May 23rd, a series of terrorist bombings targeted the coastal cities of Tartous and Jableh, killing many citizens and injuring tens of others.
