Pope Francis prays for victims of terrorist bombings in Tartous and Jableh cities

Vatican, SANA-Pope Francis prayed for eternal rest to the victims of the recent terrorist bombings which took place in Tartous and Jableh.

During his weekly audience in St. Peter’s Square, the Pope said that almost all the victims are “unarmed civilians”, asking the faithful people gathering in the square to pray for the victims and offered condolences to the families of martyrs.

Last Monday, a series of terrorist bombings targeted a bus station, the Electricity Directorate, and the National Hospital in Jableh city, as well as a bus station and a residential neighborhood in Tartous city, killing and injuring scores of civilians.
