16 civilians injured in terrorist attacks in Qamishli, Daraa, and Homs

Provinces, SANA 0 Two civilians were injured in a terrorist attack with an explosive device which took place on Monday in Qamishli city, Hasaka province.

A source at the city told SANA that terrorists detonated an explosive device they had planted inside an electricity utility pole in Corniche neighborhood, injuring two civilians and causing minor material damage.

Daraa 1

Meanwhile in Daraa city, 6 civilians were injured following a terrorist attack with mortar shells which targeted residential neighborhoods in the city.

A source at the Police Command told SANA’s correspondent that terrorists fired more than 14 mortar rounds at al-Matar and al-Sahari neighborhoods and at the surroundings of the National Hospital, injuring six, two of whom are in critical condition, in addition to causing material damage to houses and public and private properties.

Terrorists also targeted with rocket shells the neighborhoods of al-Nizha, Karm al-Louz and al-Arman in Homs city.

Homs 2

A source at Homs province told SANA that terrorists fired 2 rocket shells, with one of them landing in the main street between Karam al-Louz and al-Adawia neighborhoods while the other landed in the area surrounding al-Buhturi School in al-Nizha neighborhood, while 2 more rocket shells fell in the areas surrounding Mihsen Abbas School and the old transportation roundabout in al-Arman neighborhood.

The source confirmed that the attacks caused massive material damage to private and public properties in the aforementioned areas.

Later in the day, the source indicated that a mortar shell, fired by terrorists, hit girls school in al-Zahra’a neighborhood injuring 8 school girls and causing material damage to the place.
