Five civilians, two of them children, killed in terrorist rocket attacks in Aleppo, Daraa, Damascus Countryside

Provinces, SANA- Two children were killed and five others were injured in a terrorist attack with rocket shells that were fired by ISIS terrorists on al-Sfeira city in Aleppo countryside on Saturday.

A source at Aleppo police command said in a statement to SANA reporter that terrorists fortified in al-Sbeihiyeh village fired 12 rocket shells which hit residential neighborhoods in al-Sfeira city in the south eastern countryside of Aleppo.

The shells killed two children, injured five others and caused material damage to the locals’ public and private properties.

Later at night, SANA’s correspondent in Aleppo reported that one woman was killed and 3 children were injured due to terrorist attacks on al-Zahra’a town in Aleppo’s northern countryside, and that at least 10 civilians were injured in a terrorist attack with explosive shells on al-Sleimaniye neighborhood in Aleppo city.

In Daraa city, three civilians were injured when terrorists fired rocket and mortar shells on al-Dahieh and al-Sahara neighborhoods.

Director of Daraa Health Department Abdul-Wadoud al-Homsi said in a statement to SANA reporter that three people were admitted to Daraa National Hospital for treatment after being injured by the shells.

A source at Daraa province said firefighters are trying to extinguish fires that broke out in two buildings in the targeted neighborhoods due to the shelling attacks.

Later in the day, two civilians were killed and 12 others were injured by shells fired by terrorists on Sahnaya town in the Western Ghouta part of Damascus Countryside.

A source at the Damascus Countryside Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired seven shells at the town, landing near al-Tayaran association and Freish town near the town’s entrance, claiming the lives of two civilians and injuring 12 others, some of them women.

The source added that the attack also damaged houses, cars, and shops.
