Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will rise to become slightly about average as the country is affected by a high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, with a chance of rain showers over al-Jazeera and the eastern areas.
The department warned of fog forming over inland areas, and of frost forming over the mountainous heights.
The wind will be northwesterly of light to medium speed, while the sea waves will be of low to medium amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/5, Daraa 15/4, Homs 13/4, Hama 15/4, Hasaka 13/5, Lattakia 17/9, Aleppo 13/4 and Deir Ezzor 16/5.
