Daraa, SANA- The second batch of self-protection squads, which embraced 550 persons from Daraa and its countryside, on Monday finished training in Daraa as it will to assist the Syrian Arab army in its war against the Takfiri terrorism.
Daraa Governor Mohammad Khaled al-Hanous said that the graduation of the batch which came after the army restored peace and security to al-Sheikh Miskeen city is very important, particularly as the army has been achieving big victories and it has eliminated terrorism from wide areas in Syria.
Al-Hnous added that the role of the self-protection squads will be ensuring the complete protection of al-Sheikh Miskeen city and the cities where security and stability have been restored by the army.
