Sunday weather.. Temperatures to rise, rain showers expected

Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become higher than average in most areas as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and rain showers will fall over the northwestern and al-Jazeera areas while the weather will be cold at night.

The speed of the wind will be light and the sea waves will be low in height.

Tomorrow, temperatures will be slightly above average as the skies will be partly cloudy and rain showers are expected to fall in the coastal areas and later in the northern and al-Jazeera areas.

The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/2, Daraa 17/3, Homs 15/4, Hama 16/4, Hasaka 14/1, Lattakia 17/10, Aleppo 13/1 and Deir Ezzor 16/3.
