Damascus, SANA -The temperatures drop to become 6 to 9 degrees below average under a low air pressure with cold and wet air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will continue to be cloudy and rainy in general in most areas while the rain falls will be sometimes heavy and mixed with snow over the mountainous heights and some internal areas.
The winds will be westerly of moderate speed with active winds sometimes and the sea waves will be medium to high in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 07/01, Aleppo 04/-1, Homs 05/
-1, Hama 05/0, Idleb 04/0, Hasaka 06/0, Raqqa 07/-1, Daraa 08/01, Sweida 05/0 and Lattakia 11/05.
