Internet services restored to Aleppo

Damascus, SANA – Communications and Technology Minister Mohammad al-Jalali said that ADSL internet services have been completely restored to Aleppo city after a nine-month outage due to terrorist attacks.

In a statement to SANA, al-Jalali said that Syrian Telecom staff managed to restore the ADSL service to the city fully, and that subscribers will be receiving the service free of charge until the end of the first billing period for 2016 as a form of compensation for the outage.

The Minister promised to ensure that ADSL service will remain stable in Aleppo and will be improved until it returns to normal.
