Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become around or slightly above average as the country is being affected by a high air pressure accompanied with northwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department said in its Thursday bulletin the skies are clear in general with scattered clouds and the weather will be relatively cold at night.
The winds will be of light speed, while the sea waves will be of light amplitude, according to the department.
Fog is expected in some internal areas, and frost is above the mountainous areas.
The expected temperature degrees in some Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 21/08, Homs 20/09, Hama 21/09, Lattakia 23/13, Aleppo 20/07 and Deir Ezzor 22/07.
On Friday, temperatures will continue to rise to become above average in various areas in the country, skies are clear in general with some scattered clouds.
