Damascus, SANA – The temperatures rise gradually but remain 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied with western air currents in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies be clear to partly cloudy in general, with a chance of showers accompanied by thunder in various areas in the country.
Clouds will disperse during the night, the department added, warning of fog forming in the early hours of the morning in some inland areas.
The winds will be changeable of light speed, and the sea waves will be of low height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/11, Aleppo 20/11, Hama 21/12, Homs 19/11 and Lattakia 26/16.
