Tartous, SANA- For the second time in four months, Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its countryside, in cooperation with Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry, opened a monthly shopping festival in the coastal province on Tuesday.
Some 55 national industrial companies for producing food, apparel, perfumes and detergents are participating in the week-long festival.
Talal Qalaji, head of the festival organizing committee, member of the Board of Directors of Damascus Chamber of Industry, said the festival offers 35-50 % discounts.
Tartous governor Safwan Abu Saadi stressed the importance of this event in activating the economic movement in the province, lauding the great role of Damascus Chamber of Industry and the participating companies in providing a variety of products to cover the needs of the citizens.
