Provinces, SANA-Units of the army and the armed forces on Tuesday continued to launch wide-scale military operations against dens and positions of the Takfiri terrorist organizations across the country, killing scores of them and destroying their arms and ammunition.
Daraa
Units of the army and armed forces repelled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into the city of Daraa from different directions.
A military source told SANA Tuesday that army units killed and injured hundreds of terrorists, including 5 self-claimed leaders, and destroyed their vehicles during the confrontation.
Elsewhere in Daraa province, an army unit killed and injured all members of a terrorist group at the northwest of Atman town in the countryside of the southern province.
Meanwhile, army units killed and injured a number of Takfiri terrorists in Yadouda in the northwestern countryside.
Gatherings of terrorists were targeted in al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh and al-Ghariyeh al-Sharqiyeh
An army unit also targeted a terrorists’ den in al-Nueima town in Daraa countryside, killing more than 50 terrorists, including Bashar al-Zoubi, leader of the so-called “Jaish al-Yarmouk” and Ahmad al-Nueima, leader of the so-called “Al-Mo’tasim Billah Brigade”.
In al-Lajat area on the border with Sweida, army units destroyed vehicles of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, killing many of them, in al-Matalleh and al-Zbeira.
An army unit killed terrorists as it targeted their dens in Nassib town near the Jordanian border.
An army unit destroyed a den for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists along with the arms and ammunition inside it near the Electricity Company’s building in Daraa al-Mahatta in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the city of Daraa.
Sweida
An army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group which tried to infiltrate towards
Buthina field, 35 km northeast of Sweida city.
The clashes resulted in the killing of a number of members of the armed terrorist group and the demolishing of their vehicles, while the rest of terrorists fled towards al-Badia.
Idleb
The Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force carried out airstrikes against concentrations of terrorists in the town of Abu al-Duhour, north of Khesheir, Oum Jireen, Tal Salmo, south of the military airport, and al-Tera in Idleb countryside, leaving a number of terrorists from “al-Fateh Army” dead and destroying the vehicles.
A military source told SANA that the Air Force also destroyed terrorists’ mortar launchers and artillery in Tahoom, Bannesh, and north of Swaghia in the province’s northeastern countryside, and later the source said that the Air Force destroyed terrorists’ concentrations and more of their mortar launchers and artillery in Kafraya and al-Foa’a in the northern countryside.
The Air Force carried out more airstrikes on concentrations of terrorists and the supply lines connecting them with Turkey, leaving scores of terrorists dead and destroying their hideouts in Zaradna, Maartamsrin, Ram Hamdan, and Kafr Yahmoul in Idleb’s northern countryside.
In the province’s southwestern countryside, airstrikes on hideouts and gatherings of al-Fateh Army in the cities of Jisr al-Shughour and Ma’aret al-Nu’man and the villages of al-Hamidiye, Safuhon, and al-Habbit inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in personnel and equipment.
On a relevant note, local sources in Kafraya and al-Foa’a said that popular defense groups and locals seized a heavy vehicle and assorted weapons used by al-Fateh Army and killed many of the terrorist organization’s members, including field leaders.
Terrorists’ social networking pages acknowledged the death of a number of their members in Idleb, including Ahmad Ibrhaim Sheikho and Ali Kamel al-Sattaf.
Hama
In the neighboring province of Hama, the army’s air force destroyed several dens and vehicles of terrorist organizations under the leadership of the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” in the northern countryside of the province.
Tens of terrorists were killed or injured and their vehicles were destroyed in army air strikes in al-Alman Camp, Foro, al-Sifsafeh and Jeb al-Ahmar in Hama’s northwestern countryside near the border with Idleb province.
Air strikes also left a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists dead in the surroundings of al-Ziyara town.
Dens of terrorists were targeted in Khirbet al-Naqous, al-Mansoura silos, al-Mashbak and al-Inkawi in the northwestern countryside of Hama.
The army’s air force also carried out air strikes against gatherings of terrorists and their dens in Ma’arkaba and al-Lahaiya in the northern countryside of the province, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.
Meanwhile, local sources confirmed that a terrorist group of ten members, including the leader identified as “Abu al-Laith al-Muhajer”, were killed during an army operation in Tal Waset in Sahl al-Ghab area.
Later, a military source said that the army’s Air Force launched strikes against terrorists’ dens in al-Hweija, al-Mozara, al-Ziara and al-Mansora in the province’s countryside, killing and injuring dozens of terrorists.
Homs
The army’s air force raided dens and cells of ISIS terrorists in Tadmur, in the north of al-Maqla’a and Wadi al-Misk in Palmyra countryside, killing and injuring a big number of them and destroying a huge quantity of weapons.
Units of the army also killed ISIS terrorists in Salam Sharki and al-Sultaniya villages in Homs eastern countryside.
In Homs northern countryside, units of the army also killed many terrorists in Um Sharshouh, al-Ghantu and al-Hilalyia villages to the south of Talbeisa and in al-Rastan cities.
Aleppo
Army units defending the air force academy in Aleppo countryside destroyed 13 armored vehicles and 4 others equipped with heavy machine-guns for the ISIS terrorists, killing a number of them.
Earlier, units of the army and armed forces carried out intensive operations against dens and positions of ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of the northern Aleppo province.
Army units killed a number of Takfiri terrorists and destroyed their vehicles, some of which equipped with heavy machineguns, in operations carried out last night and Tuesday morning against dens and positions of terrorists in the villages of Kwaires Gharbi, Arbid, and the town of Kwaires Sharqi and Tadef city, 2 km to the southeast of al-Bab city.
Army’s Air Force killed a number of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in the vicinity of the Air Force Academy, Queiress, and al-Bab in the countryside of Aleppo province.
Damascus Countryside
Army units, in cooperation with Lebanese Resistance and popular defense groups, established control over 11 building blocks in north and east of al-Zabadani city, continued moving towards city center, and killed tens of terrorists.
Lattakia
The Army Air Force destroyed terrorists’ weapons storage, an explosive devices factory and killed a number of terrorists in Rabee’a town in the northern countryside of the coastal Lattakia province.
The terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of 15 of their members during army operations in Hama.
