Provinces, SANA –The army continued Thursday destroying the Takfiri terrorist organizations’ positions and hideouts in many areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon their members in personnel and equipment.
Damascus countryside
Units of the army, in cooperation with Lebanese resistance, achieved new progress in al-Zabadani city after establishing control on Barada mosque and a number of buildings in the southern edge of the city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying a weapon depot.
The army and Lebanese resistance advanced towards al-Shalah region into the direction of Za’atout street near al- Mahata, tightening the grip on the terrorist organizations.
The army operations ended up with the killing of a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, among them were Mohammad Dalati, Mohamad Shahada and Osama Ali Hamdan.
Daraa
An army unit bombarded Takfiri terrorist organization members after monitoring their movements on the axis of Atman town in the northern countryside of Daraa province, killing and injuring a number of them and destroying a machinegun-equipped vehicle for them.
A military source told SANA Thursday that an armored vehicle was destroyed with all Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on board in a special operation by an army unit to the east of al-Qaser al-Abyadh restaurant on the eastern outskirts of Daraa city.
In Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, an army unit carried out a precise operation, destroying Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ hideout, and killed a number of them to the south of the Electricity Company and the Camp neighborhood.
Meanwhile, terrorist organizations admitted on their social media websites the killing of a number of their members, among them Abdel Qader Abdel Rahman al-Sharif.
Quneitra
Army units carried out a series of military operations against Takfiri terrorist organizations’ hideouts and supply routes in the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra.
Scores of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed and injured; their weapons and ammunition destroyed in an army operation against their movements and gatherings in Taranja village in the northern countryside of the province.
The source added that another army unit destroyed terrorists’ positions in the town of Mas’hara in the eastern side of the province.
Hasaka
An army unit established full control on the northwestern side of al-Zuhour neighborhood and continued its operations against the remaining dens of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists in the neighborhood in Hasaka city, field sources told SANA reporter Thursday.
A numbers of terrorists were killed and others escaped to the buildings located on the outskirts of the neighborhood.
Army units gained ground on the axis located to the east of the road between al-Basel and Panorama roundabouts where it controlled a number of buildings and paralyzed ISISI terrorists’ movement in the buildings of Transportation Directorate, Industrial Institute and industrial Secondary school.
Fierce clashes, according to the sources, erupted last night between the national supporting forces on the outskirts of Panorama roundabout and ISIS terrorists, where scores of terrorists were killed and injured.
Lattakia
Units of the army and armed forces in cooperation with popular defense groups carried out intensive operations against dens and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other terrorist organizations in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
An army unit destroyed three vehicles equipped with machine guns for terrorist organizations in al-Furolouq forests and Tal al-Araz in the northern countryside of Lattakia and killed all members of a supporting group accompanying the vehicles and destroyed their arms and ammunition.
Takfiri terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra, the so-called Ahrar al-Sahel Brigade and al-Sultan Abdul- Hamid brigade are fortified in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
Idleb,Hama
Army units destroyed dens of terrorist organizations in Abu al-Dohour, Kansafra, Ishtabraq, Jisr al-Shoghour, Areeha, Hamka, Bzeet, Bashlamoun and al-Sukariya in Idleb countryside.
The army operations ended up with the killing of a number of so-called Jaish al-Fatah and Jabhat al-Nusra.
Meanwhile, army units destroyed dens for terrorists in Qastoun, al-Ankawi, Kafar Zeta in Hama countryside.
Field sources told SANA that the army destroyed a site for the so-called “Turkmanstanen battalion”, killing all terrorists in at Qastoun town in the southern countryside of Hama.
The sources added that the army killed so-called leader of Jabhat al-Nusra Hassan al-Mohammad in al-Madiq Citadel in eastern Hama.
Aleppo
An army unit, which defends the Air force academy in Aleppo countryside, downed a drone plane for terrorist organizations, seized it and destroyed two boats and killed all terrorists onboard in Sabkhat al-Jaboul to the south-west of the Academy.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their dens and equipment in Manjib to the north-east of Aleppo.
Homs
Army units destroyed dens, gatherings and vehicles with all terrorists on board in Talbeesa, al-Sawaneh and Jazal in Homs countryside.
