Tartous, SANA – Forty-nine athletes took part in the competitions of the Republic Tournament for Classic Bodybuilding (youth and men categories) which concluded on Wednesday in Tartous.
The athletes represented the provinces of Damascus, Damascus Countryside, Tartous, Lattakia, Homs, Quneitra and Aleppo.
In the youth category, Damascus team won the first place, followed by Damascus Countryside team, while Lattakia team was ranked third.
The results of the competitions for men came as follows: Lattakia team first, Aleppo team second and Damascus team third.
