DPRK Ambassador: Peoples of Syria and DPRK are facing a common enemy

Lattakia, SANA- Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea “DPRK” in Damascus Jang Myong Ho reiterated his country’s keenness on enhancing relations with Syria, expressing confidence that Syria will win the war against terrorism.

“Peoples of Syria and DPRK are facing a common enemy which is seeking to undermine the independence of their two countries,” Ambassador Jang said.

During a visit to the headquarters of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party in Lattakia Sunday, Jang stressed that the stability, in the economic and service sectors and the normal life in the Syrian provinces, reflect the vitality and resilience of the Syrian people in the face of the global war launched against Syria.

For her part, member of al-Baath Arab Party Regional Leadership and Head of Higher Education Regional Office Fairouz Moussa said that the relations between the two countries are witnessing a rapid development.

She affirmed that the higher education in Syria has achieved qualitative leaps as two new universities have been established in Tartous and Hama, indicating that the institutions are continuing their work in spite of the crisis.

Lattakia Governor Ibrahim Khudir al-Salem stressed the Syrian people’s determination to continue their normal life and that the institutions are continuing their normal work through carrying out various projects in all walks of life.

Earlier, Ambassador Jang visited the National Center for the excellent students in Lattakia, hailing the noble message of the center in bringing up generations of the distinguished pupils who will help reconstruct Syria and build it in the coming stage.

He hoped Syria would defeat terrorism, and peace would be restored to the country.
