Damascus, SANA- Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours, the heaviest of which were in Lattakia 35mm and in Tartous 34 mm.
Rainfalls in other Syrian provinces were as follows: 18 mm in Damascus Countryside, 9 mm in Sweida, 4.5 mm in Daraa, 22 mm in Quneitra, 11 mm in Homs and 24 mm in Hama.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and it will become cloudy sometimes.
Rain showers are expected over most areas and will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes.Snow will fall over the mountains as the country is being affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by cold and wet air mass.
The temperatures will be from 7 to 10 degrees Celsius below average and the wind will be northwestern with a moderate speed while the sea waves will be medium in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will rise, yet they will remain from 4 to 8 degrees below average and the skies will be partly cloudy in general, and rain showers are expected in different areas, particularly in the coastal, northern and al-Jazeera areas.
