Homs, SANA- The activities of the “Welcome Ramadan” shopping festival kicked off in the exhibition city in al-Waer neighborhood in Homs city.
The festival was organized by the al-Mouselli Foundation for Exhibitions and Conferences under the patronage of Homs Governorate. 62 commercial companies from various governorates are taking part in this event.
During the opening ceremony, Homs Governor Dr. Abdul Rahman al-Aama stressed the importance of providing the necessary support for economic and commercial activities, as these exhibitions represent an opportunity to support the local economy and stimulate commercial activity in the governorate, in addition to providing job opportunities for young people.
In turn, the festival organizer, Firas Mouselli, pointed out that the festival’s activities will continue until the 27th of this month, and the food items and a variety of goods, with discounts of up to 30 percent will be showcased.
Artistic and entertainments events and competitions will also be held in the sidelines of the exhibition.
