Damascus Countryside, SANA-A delegation from the German Embassy in Damascus, inspected the rehabilitation project of al-Wahda and al-Malaab wells in Douma city in Damascus countryside.
The delegation was represented by Marcelo Nashiki and David Laboud, accompanied by the Director General of the Drinking Water Corporation in Damascus and its Countryside, Eng. Ahmad Darwish, and representatives from UNICEF.
The visit aimed to follow up on the project’s work, ensure its sustainability, and evaluate its positive impact on the beneficiary local community.
The delegation also listened to an explanation from the concerned parties about the city’s water situation and ways to enhance joint cooperation to improve it.
