Damascus-SANA- The Ministry of Information stressed in a circular the necessity for all media outlets to obtain official approval from the ministry before organizing any media event.
In another circular published on its Telegram channel, the ministry indicated the necessity of reviewing the General Directorate of Press and Media Affairs before carrying out any sale of assets, equipment or properties related to media work.
According to the circular, any sale that takes place after the date of 12/8/2024 is void and not legally recognized unless it is accompanied by an approval issued by the Ministry.
The ministry noted that appropriate legal measures will be taken for any violation.
