Aleppo, SANA – Tourism Minister Bishr Yazigi on Saturday met members of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce and Chamber of Industry, asserting to them that the upcoming stage has considerable prospects for work and investment in the tourism sector, with the Ministry preparing plans to revitalize the sector during the reconstruction stage.
During the meeting, Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan Olabi invited economic activities in Aleppo to evaluate the state of the tourism and economic sectors in the province and make suggestions on how to develop economy in it.
In turn, head of the Chamber of Industry Fares al-Shihabi called for issuing special legislations to encourage economic growth in the province, noting that 400 facilities have become operation in the Sheikh Najjar industrial zone, and that 80% of the facilities in al-Arqoub industrial zone are operational.
