Syria stresses depth of relations with each of UAE, Algeria, and China

Damascus, SANA- Tourism Minister, Mohammad Rami Martini has stressed the deep historical ties linking Syria with UAE, China and Algeria, noting the importance of strengthening and developing relations with these countries throughout a fruitful cooperation and an effective solidarity.

This came during Martini’s tour on the pavilions of Syria, UAE, China and Algeria participating in the activities of Expo 2020 Dubai, accompanied by Syrian Ambassador to the UAE and Commissioner-General of the Syrian Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai, Dr. Ghassan Abbas and Consul General to DubaiKinan Zahreddine.

He toured the pavilion and reviewed its exhibits and contents, which includes the first alphabet, the oldest music recordings in history and wooden panels collected from 1,500 Syrian artists and the “I am the Syrian” exhibition.

He also toured the Trade Partners section, which hosts a group of Syrian companies, and he reviewed the economic and trade opportunities these companies offer for cooperation between the two countries.

The Minister described the Emirati Pavilion as “a civilized edifice with modern design”  shaped like a falcon in flight, the UAE pavilion tells the story of the country as a global hub, and the vision of its leaders to stress the values of openness and communication and to create a progressive society.

Martini described the Algerian pavilion is as “a gate of culture, history and development, a witness on all the tales of history and a keeper of the heritage of the country.”

Touring the Chinese Pavilion, Martini said that it represents building a society of a common future for humanity that ideally joins innovation, opportunities, communication, cooperation, development, sustainability and other global trends together.
