The elected People’s Assembly begins its 1st extraordinary session of 4th legislative term

Damascus, SANA- The elected People’s Assembly began on Wednesday its 1st extraordinary session of the 4th legislative term, headed by the elderly member, Mohammad Khair Diab Al-Mashi, who is dedicated to taking the constitutional oath and electing the Speaker and members of the Assembly’s office.

SANA reporter noted that the opening session will be dedicated to taking the constitutional oath and electing the Speaker and members of the Assembly’s office.

Al-Mashi said that the 4th legislative session of the People’s Assembly came as a result of fair elections supervised by the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections and as an expression of our people’s awareness and commitment to the directives of President Bashar al-Assad.

The constitutional oath  will be taken by the elected members of the Assembly over two days; Wednesday and to be continued on Thursday.
