Damascus, SANA- “Through their resilience in the face of terrorism, the Syrian people proved that they can’t be defeated and they are not afraid of challenges as all the components of the Syrian society, on top, members of the army and the interior security forces, are sacrificing to preserve the dignity, independence and sovereignty of the homeland and its territorial integrity”, Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar has said.
During the commencement of a new batch of police officers Monday , Minister al-Shaar added that the graduates are qualified according to the most modern programs and qualitative curriculum to be able to accomplish their tasks in preserving the security and stability of the homeland to the fullest.
He called upon the graduates to be ready to face the difficult stage which Syria is passing through and its growing challenges due to the dirty and unprecedented terrorist war launched against the country by the evil forces in service of the Zionist entity which aims at undermining Syria’s steadfastness, free will and independent decision.
He also called upon them to respect the citizens and to preserve their dignity, and to apply the law and work as an integrated cell without any negligence or favoritism, affirming that police officers should be an example to follow in honesty and adherence to law.
The commencement included several military parades and the graduates performed the oath.
