Provinces, SANA – Military operations across the country continued on Friday, with the army units targeting terrorist organizations’ positions and dens and repelling their infiltration and attack attempts in various areas, leaving many of their members dead and wounded.
Idleb
Units of the army killed and injured terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Taftanaz, Binnesh, Tal al-Rumman, Failon, Anep in the countryside of the northern Idleb province.
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists in the areas of Bourma Farms, Jidar Bakfaloun, al-Bashiryeh, and al-Mastouma in Idelb countryside.
other units eliminated 20 terrorists in Mantef and destroy a number of vehicles along with the terrorists on board near al-Arbayeen Mountain and al-Tamani’a.
Homs
Army units killed members of terrorist organizations that were moving near Unq al-Hawa and al-Mazbal in Jebb al-Jarrah area in the eastern countryside of the central Homs province, according to a military source.
More terrorists who were moving between Salam Sharqi and Sultaniyeh were killed.
The army also targeted a number of terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in southern Rahoum village, leaving them dead or wounded.
In the northern countryside, an army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, killed all members of a terrorist group in al-Bait al-Muqantar in Um Sharshouh area.
Another army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed a number of their vehicles north and east of al-Shaer field.
Daraa
Army units killed a number of terrorists and injured others in Inkhel town, north-west of Daraa province, a military source said Thursday.
The source told SANA that the army killed more terrorists and destroyed their vehicles, some of them equipped with heavy machine guns, between Maaraba and Busra al-Sham.
Many more terrorists were killed in Jamreen and in the area surrounding Rajm al-Hajar in the countryside of the province.
The army also thwarted a terrorists’ infiltration attempt towards al-Yarmouk suburb in Daraa al-Balad in the city.
Other army units killed a number of terrorists and injured others in al-Karak neighborhood and around the old Customs building in Daraa al-Balad, the source affirmed. Among the killed terrorists was Yaser al-Kafri.
Units of Army and Armed Forces continued their special operations against terrorist organizations’ dens in the southwest countryside of Daraa and intensified their strikes against their hideouts in Tal al-Hara, chasing them in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood.
An Army and Armed Forces’ unit targeted with intensive strikes terrorist organizations’ dens in Tal al-Hara in the northwest countryside of Daraa, causing the death of many of them, injuring many others and destroying some of their vehicles.
A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured in the area surrounding al-Khazan in Salmin town.
In Daraa al-Balad, units of Army continued chasing terrorists who were hiding in the residential neighborhoods, killing many of them in al-Kark neighborhood in addition to killing all the members of a terrorist group in the area surrounding al-Bahr neighborhood.
The Army also destroyed terrorists’ hideout and vehicles and eliminated a number of them on al-Sad road, near the meteorology and Syriatel buildings in Daraa al-Balad, and in the town of Atman in Daraa countryside.
Lattakia
Army units killed a number of terrorists in Kanbsa in al-Heffeh area, in the town of Salma in Slenfeh area, and in Marj Khoukha, Katf al-Rumman, Jabal al-Nouba, Saqyat al-Karit, and al-Zwyik in Lattakia’s northern countryside.
Among the terrorists killed in these areas are two leaders of the terrorist group known as Ahrar al-Cham; Imad Aboud and the terrorist nicknamed “Abu Aisha al-Banyasi,” along with a leader of the terrorist group known as “Al-Qa’qa’a Brigade” Bashar Hamido.
Bayras al-Muhajer from Tunisia, Khaled Taoum, Amjad Rahhal, Marwann Janoudi, Ammar Matraji, Mustafa Jalali, and Hassan Bedewi were also identified among the terrorists killed in these operations which always inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in weapons and equipment, as one cache of weapons and ammunition and a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed.
Hama
Army units destroyed several hideouts for terrorists in the areas of Rasm Qanbar, Sarha, Abu Hubailat, Oum Harten hill, Ersan hill, Rasm Amoun, Husso al-Ulbawi, Jana al-Ulbawi, salima hill, Bayoud, and Sheikh Hilal in Hama countryside, leaving a number of terrorists dead or injured.
Damascus Countryside
An army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed several of their hideouts and vehicles in al-Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside.
